Kuala Lumpur, 2 May 2026 – PMB Investment Berhad (“PMB Investment”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Pelaburan MARA Berhad, has launched the PMB Shariah Fixed Price Income Wholesale Fund, a Shariah-compliant fixed income solution tailored exclusively for sophisticated investors, including institutions, corporates and high-net-worth individuals.

The launch was officiated by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) Director-General, Dato’ Zulfikri Osman, in conjunction with MARA’s 60th Anniversary celebration at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur. Also in attendance were Chairman of Pelaburan MARA Berhad, Dato’ Mohamad Razali Mohamad Rahim; Chairman of PMB Investment, Datuk Mohd Idzwan Izuddin Ab Rahman; Group Chief Executive Officer of Pelaburan MARA, Mahdzir Othman; and Chief Executive Officer of PMB Investment, Hang Tuah Amin Tajudin, CFA.

The Fund is designed to generate stable and regular income, while seeking to maintain liquidity, and preserve capital through a diversified portfolio of Shariah-compliant assets. These include Islamic fixed income instruments, Shariah-compliant equities, collective investment schemes and Islamic deposits.

Commenting on the launch, Chairman of PMB Investment, Datuk Mohd Idzwan Izuddin Ab Rahman said, “This Fund reflects our strategic response to the growing demand for Shariah-compliant income solutions. The forum brought together key stakeholders across the Islamic finance ecosystem to discuss the evolution of investment strategies beyond traditional capital preservation towards sustainable and alternative asset classes, including carbon markets.

The event also featured strategic collaboration exchanges between PMB Investment and Wassiyyah Shoppe Sdn Bhd.

Meanwhile, PMB Sustainable represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Najmi Haji Mohamed, formalised collaborations with ISRA Consulting Sdn Bhd and Asia Gas Hub Sdn Bhd, aimed at the introduction of the world’s first Shariah-certified carbon credit framework, providing the necessary religious and ethical validation for participation in this emerging market.

These collaborations are expected to strengthen ecosystem support across investment solutions and carbon market development, in line with broader sustainability and economic objectives.
