OVER RM50,000 IN CSR CONTRIBUTIONS PRESENTED TO SEVEN WELFARE ORGANISATIONS
Kuala Lumpur, 31 July 2024 - PMB Investment Berhad (PMB Investment), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pelaburan MARA Berhad, concluded a successful corporate social responsibility (CSR) tour with donations exceeding RM50,000.00 to seven charitable organizations.
The initiative was part of the PMB Investment CSR Tour which started on 22 July and ended yesterday.
PMB Investment Chief Executive Officer, Mahani Ibrahim emphasized the company's unwavering dedication to CSR activities.
"PMB Investment is deeply committed to making a positive impact through our CSR initiatives. Our focus areas include enhancing knowledge, fostering community harmony, and preserving the environment.
“We aim to support government agencies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) through various CSR activities to achieve our shared objectives.
"The PMB Investment CSR Tour program is a testament to the company's dedication to societal welfare. By channeling funds into education, health, and social welfare, we strives to foster lasting positive changes in the community," said Mahani in a statement issued here, today.
Receipients of the donations were Waqaf An-Nur Corporation Berhad, which received contribution of RM26,257.80; Persatuan Thalassaemia Malaysia, Cancer Associates & Kindred Network (CAKNE), Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Pesakit HIV dan Aids Nurul Iman Malaysia (PERNIM), The Selangor and Federal Territory Association for the Mentally Handicapped (SAMH), each receiving RM5,000; Muslim Volunteer Malaysia (MVM) (RM3,600) and The Trustees of Hidayah Centre Foundation Registered, which received RM3,686.49.
