Please be informed that there have been attempts to spread suspicious WhatsApp messages, emails, or calls claiming that PMB Investment is listed among companies involved in fraudulent investment schemes.
We would like to emphasize that PMB Investment Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pelaburan MARA Berhad, is an Islamic Fund Management Company (IFMC) approved by the Securities Commission Malaysia.
To protect yourself, please:
- Do not disclose personal or account information to any suspicious individuals. Always keep your personal information secured, including your MyKad number, address, bank details, and existing investment details. This information may be illegally used to impersonate your identity or gain unauthorized access to your financial/investment accounts.
- Verify the identities of the individuals or entities you are dealing with. Deal only with individuals or entities that are registered or licensed by the Securities Commission Malaysia and/or the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM).
- Avoid making any payments to unknown third-party accounts. Be wary of unusual payment requests/methods. Legitimate transactions via cheques/bank transfers and payable to PMB Investment Berhad only.
- File a police report if you receive messages, emails, or calls from individuals requesting you to transfer money into any account.
