Datuk Dazma Shah Bin Daud, joined the Board of Pelaburan MARA Berhad on 04 August 2023.
He started his career as an education officer with Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) in 2001 after completing his degree in Education at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. Datuk Dazma went on to serve on the board of Unione Properties Sdn Bhd, Yalong Didactic (M) Sdn Bhd, Aquinon Capital Sdn Bhd, and Karyaneka Sdn Bhd. With over 20 years of experience in corporate advisory, education, and real estate, he has been instrumental in engaging industry players and government agencies to increase economic activities for youth and underprivileged communities in Petaling Jaya.
Datuk Dazma is an active member of various NGOs such as PEMADAM, Persatuan Peniaga Penjaja Bumiputra Petaling Jaya, and Persatuan Belia Pekerja Muda Kuala Lumpur. He is currently the Deputy Chief of UMNO’s Petaling Jaya division.
Currently, he serves as a member of Lembaga Penapisan Filem Malaysia.
