En. Yahaya bin Sani is the Group Chief Executive Officer of MARA Corporation, bringing over 37 years of service within the MARA ecosystem. He assumed his current role on 17 April 2025, following an extensive career in senior leadership, investment oversight, and entrepreneurial development within the MARA Group.
He holds a Master of Business Management (Marketing) from Universiti Utara Malaysia and a Bachelor of Business Management (Marketing) from Universiti Teknologi MARA. His leadership experience spans corporate governance, investment management, and public sector development, having previously served as Senior Director (Investment) and Director of MARA State Offices in Kedah and Perak.
Throughout his career, he has played a key role in strengthening corporate governance across MARA subsidiaries, driving digitalisation initiatives, improving financial and operational performance, and supporting national entrepreneurship and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) development agendas.
En. Yahaya is also actively involved in professional, academic, and community organisations, including serving as an Adjunct Professor at Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM), Board Member of GIATMARA Sdn. Bhd., and holding leadership roles in national sports and civil defence associations. His service excellence has been recognised through multiple awards and honours at both state and national levels.
