PMB Investment Funds Record Outstanding Performance

PMB Investment Berhad (PMB Investment), a wholly owned subsidiary of Pelaburan MARA Berhad, announced that 11 out of 16 funds under its management have recorded outstanding performances, placing them in the Lipper Investment Management rankings under the categories of Malaysia Equity Unit Trust, Growth Equity, Growth-Income Equity, and Index Equity Funds.

The PMB Shariah TNB Employees Fund achieved an impressive annual return of 66.3%. Meanwhile, the PMB Shariah Growth Fund, under the Malaysia Growth Equity category, recorded a return of 54.8% over the same period.

The PMB Shariah Small-Cap Fund posted an annual return of 37.1%, also in the Malaysia Growth Equity category. The PMB Shariah ASEAN Stars Equity USD Fund (Growth Equity Fund) returned 35.3% for the year ended 31 December 2020. In addition, the PMB Shariah Tactical Fund returned 27.7%, while PMB Dana Bestari achieved 26.4%.

PMB Investment also outperformed the FBM Emas Shariah Index benchmark in the Malaysian Shariah Index Equity category, with the PMB Shariah Index Fund recording a return of 24.9% over the same period. The PMB Shariah Premier Fund saw a return of 17.7%, while the PMB Dana Mutiara Fund delivered 13.4% in the Malaysia Growth-Income Equity category. The PMB Dana Al-Aiman Fund returned 12.4%, and finally, the PMB Shariah Aggressive Fund recorded 11.7%.

This announcement was made by Mahani Ibrahim, Acting Chief Executive Officer of PMB Investment, at the PMB Investment headquarters earlier today.
