Manager, Compliance / Compliance Officer
Mohd Sofian Md Saad has been affiliated with the Pelaburan MARA Group since 2007. He previously held positions within PMB Investment and worked across several departments before assuming his current role in September 2019.
He possesses over 20 years of experience, beginning his career in 2004 as an auditor with S. Thillaimuthu & Co. He subsequently gained extensive exposure in accounting and finance within the manufacturing and automotive industry. After a decade with the Accounts Division at PMB Investment, where he focused on the portfolio accounts and unit trust funds, he was seconded to the Integrity Unit at Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) in 2018 and Pelaburan MARA’s Internal Audit and Integrity in the following year. Currently, he oversees the Group’s compliance function primarily concerning the operations of PMB Investment as a unit trust management company.
He was officially designated as a Compliance Officer in December 2023. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Finance and a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Additionally, he has been a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 2009.
