Datuk Mua’amar Ghadafi Jamal Bin Datuk Wira Jamaludin, a 45-year-old Malaysian, joined the Board of Pelaburan MARA Berhad in August 2023.
He is a civil engineer by profession and began his career with Syarikat Pembinaan Caj Maju Sdn Bhd in 2004, where he honed his negotiation skills and managed several government projects. He then became the CEO of Asia Global Field Sdn Bhd, where he secured venture capital funding from investors to expand the business. Datuk Mua’amar is also the Managing Director of Data Protection Experts Asia Sdn Bhd, where he recruited and led a team of data protection experts and maintained relationships with key stakeholders.
Datuk Mua’amar is an active social and youth volunteer. He served as the President of the Malaysia Youth Council from 2014 to 2018 and the President of the 4B Youth Movement from 2010 to 2016 Currently, he holds the position of Parit Buntar UMNO division vice-youth chief.
He graduated from the University Putra Malaysia with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) in 2002.
